Edition 6. Cables down, decks set. Then Rodgers walked in early, and the whole night changed.

I saw a poster calling for a spoken word artist. I wasn't one. I messaged them anyway.

Before any of this, I was washing cars. Day after day, until I had enough for the course.

On paper NSFF runs 10am to 10pm. Most editions, nobody's going anywhere until midnight.

During my NSFF sets I hand the decks over. I remember what it was like before anyone gave me a chance.
